We are days away from celebrating 108 YEARS of Culture for Service and Service For Humanity! Our Sorors across the Commonwealth of Virginia are excited to celebrate Blue And White Founders’ Day 2022 with us, their Virginia Sigma brothers. We have several LIVE events to celebrate together and social media campaigns to remind the world that there is ONLY ONE constitutionally bound brother and sister organization. Below are the events for the week:
- Jan 9 – Blue & White Sunday Worship: We are encouraging members of the Blue and White Family to fellowship together at a local house of worship and participate in the Global Founders’ Day celebration live-streamed at 4pm simultaneously across multiple platforms (YouTube, Facebook and Twitter).
- Jan 9 – Sigma Love: Brothers will flood social media with their favorite Sigma moment. Sorors will share pictures displaying their love for Sigma brothers.
- Jan 10 – Mindful Monday: Take a moment to visit, facetime, text, video chat, or call a member of the Blue and White Family (Sigma, Zeta, Amicae, or youth affiliate), that you have not connected with lately.
- Jan 11 – Chapter Shoutout: Show everybody why your chapter is the greatest. Post pictures of community services, brotherly/ sisterly bond activities, and memories with your chapter.
- Jan 12 – Wellness Wednesday: We are encouraging Blue and White to take a moment to hit a workout session (virtual or in-person) to promote physical and emotional health.
- Jan 13 – Throwback Thursday: The Blue and White Family goes way back!!! Pull out those initiation, probate, new member presentations, collegiate or throwback photos.
- Jan 14 – Virtual House Party featuring DJ Precise: If you missed the last Joint Founders’ Party, then you definitely do not want to miss this year’s! DJ Precise will be rocking the 1’s and 2’s from 7pm-10pm. Grab your line sister or brother, chapter members and come have a good time. Please register here.
- Jan 15 – Family Dinner: There is no time like the present to get to know the local chapter members and sorors. We are encouraging the Blue and White Family to support a local business together and fellowship.
- Jan 16 – Joint Reaffirmation and Founders’ Day Program: This event will allow us to not only renew our commitment to our organization as a Blue and White Family but we also pay homage to our Honorable Founders’ of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated and Triumphant Founders’ of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
